Who We Are

Elite Wine Consultants was, in part, established to help business within the wine trade to successfully attain their wine program goals. The Company was established in 2015 by a veteran of several areas within the wine trade including the importing, distribution wholesale, retail and restaurant sectors, that provided wine education to both consumers and members of the trade. The mission of Elite Wine Consultants is to provide practical advice to new and established businesses selling fine wines in both Off-Premise and On-Premise establishments as well as Importers, Distributors and Regional Promotional Boards. 


For many businesses invloved in the trade, the only source of advice and training come through local distributors, who have a vested interest in the success of the brands that they represent more than that of the clients they service. This makes total sense, as their ability to retain wine brands, often tied to Spirits brands, rest upon their ability to achieve both market distribution and sales volume, which becomes more and more demanding with each successive year. Distributors are also quite biased toward their brands, which is to be expected and, frankly, necessary for the success of their business and the fiduciary responsibility they have toward the brands that they represent. We felt that there was a need for a more objective option for fine wine establishments and one that placed their interest above all others.  


Beyond the trade, Elite Wine Consultants was also established to provide valuable services to wine consumers, elite wine collectors and adjacent professional sector clients.  We firmly believe that the health of the Wine Trade depends upon a well educated, intelligently serviced and effectively engaged consumer base.  It is with this comprehensive vision in mind that Elite Wine Consultants came into existence and it remains our raison d'etre and will always be so.
