This is the Live Event Course for the Foundations of Wine Level that is available in major Cities according to the Live Event Calendar on this website. They are 3 hour courses that include a sampling of classic wine varieties from the major wine producing countries. These wines cover the major wine types as outlined in the course material. An optional exam is available at the end of the session to receive the Certificate in Foundational Wine Studies . The exam time limit is 1 hour. There is no certificate of completion or participation issued. The optional exam consist of 100 questions on the material covered in multiple choice, fill the blank and connect the concepts format. Passing score is 90% with 95% receiving Honors and 100% Highest Honors distinction. Test are graded within 2 weeks and Certificates mailed to all who pass. Feedback is given to those who do not pass the exam.
