Foundations of Wine Level II
The Level II course in Foundations of Wine examines advanced concepts and deeper foundational wine knowledge in all categories covered in our Level I course. This advanced course includes an analytical tasting segment. The Course is three hours long with the exam taken after the class lasting 1 hour. The exam covers all material from Level I and Level II and requires prior review of Level I material before the Level II class. The passing mark is 90% with 95% receiving Honors and 100% receiving Highest Honors. The Advanced Certificate in Wine Studies is issued upon a successful pass and mailed to exam takers within two weeks. Feedback is given to those exam takers who do not achieve a passing mark.
