Elite Wine Consultants provides professional level training in wine knowledge and service for all levels of hospitality professionals. The training is focused on essential knowledge and skills that are advantageous for your success in a restaurant, bar, club or resort type environment. We will instruct you and your staff in fundamental wine knowledge (wine theory) as well as professional service skills, conversational sales and a philosophy of customer service interaction, that fully prepares both you and your staff for success in these customer service intensive environments. 

The courses and certifications provided through Elite Wine Academy include Level I and Level II Foundational concepts in wine that also includes fundamentals of wine service and etiquette. These courses give your staff all of the knowledge they will likely need in dealing with the vast majority of your clientele. The courses both come with a Certification Exam and frameable certificate upon a successful pass of the exam. The exam includes multiple format theory questions, short answer essays to test depth and cohesiveness of knowledge, and a practical wine service exam.

Advance Certification courses are available to those who pass both the Level I and Level II exams, which is a non-negotiable pre-requisite for the advanced certification course and exam.

The sessions include wine tastings as allowed by local State and County regulations for On-Premise licensees. All sessions must occur during hours in which the licensed premise is closed to the public.
