This an excellent wine class for those completely new to structured wine education or for those with some knowledge that have already taken a "Wine 101" class. This class will fill in the blanks missing in most "101" classes and bring clarity to often difficult fundamental concepts related to fine wines. A Certificate of Completion is issued to all who complete the course and a Certificate of Excellence for those who choose to take the optional exam and achieve a minimum score of 90% on a 50 question open book but timed exam. Results are given within one week with constructive feedback. Certificates are emailed and downloadable for those who successively pass. To taste along with us throughout the course, we will send you a list of 12 recommeneded wines with a source to purchase them from. For this course, while the brands are not as crucial for the tasting segment, you can purchase similar wines locally, if that is more convenient for you.
