Some of these wines are hard to come by in many markets and ideally, we would like you to be tasting the same producer and vintage that we are tasting. A certificate of completion is issued to each enrolled student completing the course. An optional exam is offered with everyone scoring 90% or better receiving a Level One Certification in Italian Wines. This course is an excellent prep class for the Mastering Italian Wines Course. While not required as a pre-requisite, it is highly recommended as the Mastering Italian Wine course does reference some of the foundational material in this class and the Foundations courses, that is is assumed you already have mastered.
