The Wine Explorer Series Chile Edition gives wine enthusiast and students a concise academic explanation of the wines of Chile within an easy to understand 3 hour session. After this Class, and the short 30 or so page Ebook, you will be equipped with all the factual information needed concerning Chilean wines to competently select them in a restaurant or retail environment without any apprehension. The class will also empower you to select Chilean wines with greater skill resulting in far less disappointing experiences. The course is a fantastic and easy exploration of Chileanwines and the ebook is also a great quick reference. Chile is far more than just Carmenere. Yes, we will be tasting wines during this Xploration, so if you would like to join in, we will send you a list of 12 wines that we will be tasting during the class. A link to an online retailer will be provided. You get free shipping and a discount on the exact wines we will be using. You are free, of course, to source them locally and an alternative brand will be provided. Some of these wines are hard to come by in many markets and ideally, we would like you to be tasting the same producer and vintage that we are tasting. It is a lot of wines, so you may want to get several or even a dozen friends to do the sessions with you and split the cost of the wines. A certificate of completion is issued to each enrolled student completing the course. An optional exam is offered with everyone scoring 90% or better receiving a Level One Certification in Chilean Wines. This course is an excellent prep class for the Mastering South American Wines Course. While not required as a pre-requisite, it is highly recommended as the Mastering South American Wine course does reference some of the foundational material in this class and the Foundations courses, that is is assumed you already have mastered.
